Todd grew up in Vermont. Like every child, he loved to draw. Like every artist, he never stopped drawing. He spent many hours studying, (and copying, to the best of his abilities), the works of Norman Rockwell, N.C.Wyeth, J.C.Lyendecker, and John Singer Sargent. Todd knew he wanted to be an illustrator, even before he could spell the word.
He attended the Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA and graduated with a B.F.A in Illustration. His junior year he was commissioned by the Cummings Center to create four murals, each 8' high and 16' long, depicting the four seasons. The murals made front page of two newspapers.
His senior year Todd's thesis was children's illustration. He studied independently with Author/ Illustrator Jarret J Krosoczka.
Todd continuously writes and illustrates. His goal, to create a children's book that inspires, challenges, and opens the imagination of a child.
"Everyone has a favorite picture book that brings back fond memories of childhood. Creating such a book is the ultimate goal and reward for a writer and illustrator".
Todd is a member of the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators. He Lives in Boston, MA
